Robert Kerman

Geboren: 1947-12-16 Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA
Robert Kerman war ein US-amerikanischer Film- und Filmschauspieler sowie Darsteller in Erwachsenenfilmen. Nach ersten Erfahrungen am Off-Broadway stieg Kerman in die New Yorker Erwachsenenfilmbranche ein und übernahm zunächst nicht-sexuelle Rollen. Später drehte er Sexszenen, meist unter dem Pseudonym Richard Bolla oder R. Bolla. Kerman sah sich stets in erster Linie als Schauspieler und versuchte, eine Karriere als Mainstream-Schauspieler zu verfolgen. Er wirkte unter anderem in „The Goodbye Girl“ (1977) mit und spielte in dem Horrorfilm „Cannibal Holocaust“ (1980), neben einigen kleineren Projekten. Aufgrund seiner Arbeit in der Erwachsenenfilmbranche wurde er jedoch weitgehend ignoriert. Jahre nach seinem Rückzug aus diesem Bereich lud ihn Regisseur Sam Raimi zu einem Vorsprechen für eine kleine Rolle in „Spider-Man“ (2002) ein, die er erhielt. Er spielte einen kurzen, aber einprägsamen Schlepperkapitän. Kerman starb am 27. Dezember 2018 in seinem Haus in New York City an den Folgen seiner Diabeteserkrankung.
