Schauspieler
Dee Bradley Baker
Dee Bradley Baker ist ein US-amerikanischer Synchronsprecher, der vor allem für seine vielfältigen Tier- und Monsterstimmen bekannt ist. Er wurde am 31. August 1962 in Bloomington, Indiana, geboren und wuchs in Greeley, Colorado auf. Baker begann seine Bühnenlaufbahn bereits im Alter von neun Jahren und hat eine breite Ausbildung, unter anderem in Philosophie, Biologie, Kunst und Deutsch, das er auch an der Universität Göttingen studierte.
Seine bekanntesten Rollen umfassen zahlreiche Animationsserien wie American Dad! (als Klaus Heisler), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ben 10, Phineas and Ferb und SpongeBob Schwammkopf. Besonders berühmt ist er für seine Arbeit im Star Wars-Universum, wo er seit der Serie Star Wars: The Clone Wars alle Klontruppen spricht, darunter Captain Rex und Commander Cody. Auch in den Serien Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance und The Bad Batch leiht er den Klonen seine Stimme. In The Bad Batch variiert er die Stimmen der einzelnen Klonmitglieder deutlich, was seine stimmliche Bandbreite unterstreicht.
Neben seiner Arbeit in Animationsserien ist Baker auch in Videospielen wie Halo, Gears of War und Overwatch aktiv. Er lebt mit seiner Frau und zwei Töchtern in Los Angeles und spricht fließend Deutsch.
